Fishing Competitions

Do you like to fish? So do we!

Ethercraft uses the Even More Fish plugin in order to host a variety of fishing competitions! While holding a fishing rod during a competition, you can see other players' great catches as well. Here are a few types of competitions: 

Manually Started Fishing Competitions

These competitions are started by a player who has eaten a certain type of suspicious stew. These stews can be found by winning them in crates or envoys! With these competitions, only one player has to be active to begin. 
1st Place: 1 Vote key, $3,000, and a Speed Boost
2nd Place: 1 Vote key, $2,000, and a Speed Boost
3rd Place: 1 Vote key, $1,000, and a Speed Boost
4th Place: $500 and a Speed Boost
5th Place: $500 and a Speed Boost

The Largest Fish

The Largest Fish competition happens every two to three hours for a duration of 10 minutes. You can check fish sizes by hovering over a fish in your inventory with your mouse!
1st Place: 1 Vote key, $3,000, and a Speed Boost
2nd Place: 1 Vote key, $2,000, and a Speed Boost
3rd Place: 1 Vote key, $1,000, and a Speed Boost
4th Place: $500 and a Speed Boost
5th Place: $500 and a Speed Boost

The Most Fish

This competition cares about how many fish you catch instead of how large your fish are. It alternates timing with the Largest Fishing competition for a similar duration of 10 minutes. 
1st Place: 1 Vote key, $3,000, and a Speed Boost
2nd Place: 1 Vote key, $2,000, and a Speed Boost
3rd Place: 1 Vote key, $1,000, and a Speed Boost
4th Place: $500 and a Speed Boost
5th Place: $500 and a Speed Boost

The Weekend Derby!

Buckle up! Because every Sunday at 10:30 EST Ethercraft hosts a 30-minute Largest Fishing competition with double the reward!
1st Place: 2 Vote keys, $6,000, and a Speed Boost
2nd Place: 2 Vote keys, $4,000, and a Speed Boost
3rd Place: 2 Vote keys, $2,000, and a Speed Boost
4th Place: $1000 and a Speed Boost
5th Place: $1000 and a Speed Boost
